There is a fair amount of online businesses that do not make it and some only make it because the cost is so high that once you are in, you have invested too much of your own money to give it up. It just becomes a long stagnant business. Only a few at the top make it but continue to struggle to stay there. I've done this and had lost allot of money and drive because of this. But I did learn! You can spend years building a business, so how much time and money do you have? People attempt online business for extra money or to provide a retirement or early retirement. They join to "make money". Online products and services are more expensive than going to your local store for the same, similar product. The reason they do is to generate a future income. When it comes down to it, it's not the product or service, it's the desire "to make money".

Some Key Factors:
You Need Stamina: There is a link to describe "delayed gratification" in the "Training" pages. This is a huge factor in "every" business, Traditional or Networking. But especially in the Networking Business. There is a very little cost for starting these but people feel it should pay back immediately and give up when it doesn't. You must give the business a gallant effort and give your effort the time to flower. Don't expect it to explode, instantly. You need to be patient and keep smiling. Have you noticed that successful people in the Networking Business have done this for years. You need to give it at least an 18 month window before your business can be determined crap or success. It takes time to have your business prove itself, so don't put all your eggs in one basket. Test and work many. This will also be the basis of the link "diversification".
You Need Common Sense: Don't ever expect an expensive business to flourish. The cost "must" be comparable to the profit. This is explained in the "price/cost" link. You will go through all of your warm leads and burn them out. In most cases, it take 100's of members to be comfortable and 1000's to be successful. This takes time and unless you have a magic business, your team will bail long before this. You need to find affordable and profitable businesses and "many" of them. Diversification is the Key to having an income to survive with. I found, through the years, that the ones that were successful have their hands in many, many business opportunities and don't just rely on one that may fail.
Simplicity Is Bliss: "Keeping It Simple" is my motto. Your business should be low cost and profitable for starters then it should be simple to run. There should be back-office training and online training available. You should not have to rely on an upline or sponsor to babysit you. How many people do you want to babysit??? If you make a simple business complicated then you will make it look complicated to others. Keep it simple and it will stay simple. You can train people but if you do you will be showing them that they have to be trainers. If a business is simple enough, then all the answers are there for them. You do not have to be an expert on anything. Just use common sense. Diversification, Simplicity, Affordability and Traffic are the 4 basics to work from. An understanding of "paying it forward" is a bonus for you and someone in need.
Traffic Is A Must: You must have traffic in your business. This means you must have an advertising platform for mass url emails, banner ads, social networks and referral platforms. With out being able to market this way, you need to pound the pavement. The concept behind Network Marketing is to semi-retire with little effort. That is freedom!
What I Do and Look For Now!
I hate joining a company and finding it fail - I have added many companies to my portfolio to test run them and find rather they are good or bad. When you look at my comments on each business there will be a commentary note.
I hate having to go to meetings (that's not freedom) - I find businesses where they are "online" opportunities and not the type that rely on others. Training is in the back offices or on my site for everyone to learn from.
I hate having to bring my friends to an opportunity meeting (that's not freedom) - My opportunities are based on referral links, banner ads, social media and emails. No meetings required.
I hate having to pay a huge administration fee for nothing - I have found opportunities with minimal to free enrollments. No administration fees.
I hate having such high qualification requirements to get paid - I aim for companies that have minimal to zero qualification requirements which makes it easier for you to get paid what you are worth.
I hate having to pay high monthly autoships and get nothing back - Most of my companies use an e-wallet platform to pay required qualifications which means no out-of-pocket expenses.
I hate having to stockpile product for customer samples (that's not freedom) - Minimal products to one is better but digital products are best. This is my focus on the companies I have compiled for you.
I hate having to talk to people about joining (that's not freedom) - Almost all of my opportunities are internet based which means the prospect approach come from the internet. I utilize e-mailers, banners, social media and referral links to market all of them. I don't have to leave my home or even talk to anyone. The businesses I am promoting have all the lingo required for mass marketing from home.
I hate not being able to get help when I need it - You should never be imprisoned by a sponsor. The training and support is all online with the companies I promote and you just have to go online to find them. You work your hours and not someone else's. Keeping it simple!
I hate having to wait a month for the company to pay me for the previous month (that's not freedom) - I've found instant pay, weekly pay and direct pay opportunities for you. I've also placed a link for pay options such as; payment cards and e-wallets. Some are even anonymous for tax reasons.
I hate being at the bottom of the totem pole - I search desperately for pre-launches and fresh launches. The people at the top make all the money so basically you are at the top of most of them. This also helps with receiving a spillover of recruits in your team.
I hate having to travel distances to work my business (that's not freedom) - All my businesses are set to work from home and not to be on-the-road. No meetings, seminars or deliveries. Marketing is all from the internet and products and services are delivered on the internet. You don' have to leave home, dress fancy or wine n dine anyone.
I hate the "rah rah" hype that follows the smoke n mirrors - When a business relies on "rah rah" for success, what happens when you're not around to pat their backs? All my businesses rely on logic. I do not promote products or services. The compensation plan must be logical and with a cost/profit ratio that works perfect or I won't do it. I only promote pay plans. products and services only make the business legal.
I hate deceiving companies and fancy fine print - All my companies have/are being tested and dissected to find faults. When faults are found, I remove them. They must be honest, upfront and sincere.
I hate having to pay shipping and handling fees - I have aimed for digital products mostly. There is no handling fees. I have been trying to promote crypto currency businesses since crypto currency is sent and delivered for free. I have been aiming for companies that have shipping and handling included in the main price so there are no surprises.
